Important Notice about Joomla 2.5

Joomla 2.5.28 was released on December 10, 2014, and is now officially the last release of the 2.5.x Joomla series. Official support for Joomla 2.5.28 ended on December 31, 2014. This means that there will be no new releases of the Joomla 2.5.x series, as such, the Joomla project is putting all its efforts in its Joomla 3.3 and upcoming 3.4 series.

According to the current Joomla Support Policy, "only the latest minor release within a major series is supported", as a result "support for a minor release ends immediately when it is superseded by a new minor release in the same major series. (Example: Support for 3.3 will end as soon as 3.4 is released.)". This means that the only supported releases of Joomla at the moment are version 3.3.x releases. Minor Joomla releases lower than 3.3 (3.0.x, 3.1.x, 3.2.x) are no longer supported.

Migrate to latest Joomla 3.x

All customers using Joomla 2.5.x are advised to start planning your migration to the Joomla 3.3.x latest release. If you are not sure about migrating, please have a look at the advice that the Joomla project has provided.

Valor Apps Products

Due to these changes to the Joomla Development Cycle and Release Policy, all product releases (major and minor releases) from Valor Apps in 2015 and beyond will no longer support Joomla 2.5x series. In addition, all new major and minor product releases in 2015 will only support the Joomla release that is available at the time of the products release. Unsupported Joomla releases will not be supported in the product code.
